Orway has worked on numerous projects involving ore sorting using client-supplied and vendor testwork data. Ore sorting, undertaken on coarser particles, is intrinsically associated with comminution processes, and preparation of the feed often has a significant impact on final recovery. Orway uses its comminution experience and models to integrate testwork and ore sorting modules into flowsheets to produce process flow diagrams, mass balances and grade/recovery predictions for engineering design.
